We love being Fancy!

This summer we were introduced to the awesome Fancy Nancy books written by Jane O’Connor.  Always a teacher at heart; it thrills me to see a series of books that are fun to read and great for little girls!  The main character, Nancy, is an intelligent free spirit who loves to dress up in fancy clothes and use her very fancy vocabulary.  Our favorite book out of this series is “Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy“.  Nancy struggles being the “fanciest” person in her family as she searches for the perfect dog.

When Lauren and Tatum were invited to a dress up birthday party, I was thrilled to find Fancy Nancy dress up clothes.  So were they!  Dressed in their tutus, sunglasses, plastic high heels and boas, they were definitely the “fanciest” at the party!

Oh how I would love to create a Fancy Nancy Pilloroo!

  1. I have been hearing a lot about Fancy Nancy. I will have to visit a store and check out the books. It is such a hit ’cause I remember how little girls always loved to dress up and imitate their Moms or other fancy ladies. Th pictures of the girls are very cute. Continue to have fun with them.

  2. I hope you received my comment.
