It’s the Cutest Thing I Have Ever Seen!

We are working on some exciting new products for 2010.  I am on the phone daily putting the little details together so we can launch some new cuddly Pilloroos this year.  I absolutely love showing the Pilloroo to people for the first time.  Today I was talking to Trudi who opened up our web page and exclaimed, the Pilloroo is “the cutest thing I have ever seen.”  This is not the first time I have heard this – but it really never gets old!

Top Pilloroos of 2009

Wow!  What a year 2009 was for us.  The first full year of Pilloroo was a great adventure.  We have met many new friends and learned a whole lot about what our customers want.  We are looking forward to new products this year, and a wonderful selection of new prints for Spring 2010.  Before we get started though, we thought we would look back on our top Pilloroos of 2009.  The Cupcake Caravan Pilloroo was a wonderful hit in all of our boutiques and sold out in the Spring.  When the cupcake club blog gave the Pilloroo great reviews, we had a good feeling about this sweet little Pilloroo.  And we were right.

Our Dynamic Dinosaur Pilloroo was also a hit especially during Christmas time at the Dinosaur Farm in Pasadena.  We received a frantic call the week before Christmas – they were all sold out and needed more right away.  With all of those kids watching Dinosaur Train on PBS and just plain diggin’ dinos, this Pilloroo was a great find.

Our collegiate Pilloroos were also a big hit with Oski, the Cal Pilloroo and Timeout the FSU Pilloroo sold for the many special occassions sports fans have.

Enjoying the Christmas Rush

The week before Christmas is a rush for so many people.  Christmas cards, presents, baking-so much to do before the big day.  I have had this line of one of my favorite poems in my head all week as I rush to the post office to get Pilloroos in the mail.  I know I am not the only one rushing this time of year as parents, teachers, aunts and uncles are all trying to do as much as they can to create a special Christmas for the ones they love.  It is all this rushing and planning that creates those special Christmas memories that last a life time.

Money for a Rainy Day, Ipod, Christmas Presents…

Our list continues to grow.  So many things to hide in your favorite Pilloroo.  I love the look of empowerment I see in Lauren and Tatum’s eyes when they decide what to put in their Pilloroos.

At 3 years old, they love having something they are in charge of and making that big decision on their own.  Last week it was a special ring they received as a party favor.  Lauren placed hers in her Cupcake Pilloroo and closed the zipper tight.  Tatum on the other hand has commandeered her Daddy’s custom made Oregon State Pilloroo and placed hers in that one.  She loves using “Daddy’s pillow”.

I love that a Pilloroo so simple, can make them feel so important.
